Billi, (Awkwafina - Nora from Queens), a young Chinese American, is returning to Changchun where her family has gathered as grandma has only a few weeks to live. The family gathers in the guise of a wedding and Billi learns much more about her family and her homeland but mostly, she learns about what goes unspoken.
